Wild Lines Writing Community

Welcome to the Wild Lines community! We are so glad you found your way here.

Wild Lines is an in-person writing group, retreat organiser, and community for writers of the weird, the wild, the dark and the dismissed.

With a focus on feminist and Queer stories, and a commitment to the chaos and joy of a writing life, we invite you to join us to work on your own projects.

Bonnie and Jess met on a Gothic Writing Retreat in 2023. Both fascinated by the potential of stories not usually told, they kept in touch, working on their novels.

At the end of 2025, they were both feeling the lack of a community and wanted a place to write regularly – together! Wild Lines was born! Once a month, they meet to work on their projects for 2 hours, and you can join them. Contact us for more information about the next meetup!

Our first retreat will be coming this Autumn. Check back here for ticket updates, or email
