Welcome
My whole life, I have found solace in stories. Fictional connections, that felt like someone was sitting next to me, listening to my thoughts, placing a hand on mine, understanding. But there were always gaps, missing parts. I wasn’t seeing myself very often; I was trying to fit myself into a narrative that someone else had written for me.
When I finally found queer stories, disabled stories, stories by people with trauma like mine, it was like the entire room had filled with understanding friends. The loneliness that followed me for much of my life disappeared when I read those stories, those lives. When those writers let me in to their worlds.
What more could you hope for as a writer? To be a voice inviting readers to witness your stories, to understand, to be a part of them. And through those words, to know they’re not alone.
I write the stories that would have made that difference to me. The stories that I needed when I was younger. The stories I still need now. I write stories for the people who live in the gaps.
